Dr. Jeremy Prosser joined the practice while it was Clear Lakes Animal Wellness in July, 2019, took on ownership in 2020, and rebranded it to the Brewerton Hospital for Animals (the BrewHA.com) in 2023. Dr. Prosser is familiar with the community, as he grew up just up the road in Cicero. Dr. Prosser earned his DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, with his final year of clinical rotations at Cornell.

Dr. Prosser takes pride in his work as a veterinarian and considers it an honor to be able to go to work every day and enjoy what he does! Although it can be a rollercoaster of emotions from one appointment to the next, the thing he enjoys the most is that he is able to help not only the pets that are his patients, but also be a help and a guide to their owners. Dr. Prosser greatly enjoys the relationships he has made with his clients over the years!

When Dr. Prosser is not in the office, you will probably find him, his wife, and 5 kids enjoying one of the surrounding lakes, campgrounds, or parks. They enjoy any outdoor activity, spend lots of time with family and friends, and stay active with their church activities as well.

Dr. Meier obtained her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

While there, she received the “Gentle Doctor Award” which recognized her for being the student most devoted to patient care.

Dr. Meier became an Associate DVM here at the BrewHA in 1993 and took over ownership of the practice (Clear Lakes Animal Wellness) from 1995-2020. During that time, she was the President of the Central New York Veterinary Medical Association for 2 terms! In 2020 she sold the practice to Dr. Prosser, but still enjoys seeing and caring for her patients and clients!

Outside of the office you can find Dr. Meier with her husband Steve and son Nolan enjoying all the things CNY has to offer: Sailing, skiing, canoeing, swimming and gardening!

Her furry family members include: her cat Marian, and two dogs Joey and Button.

Dr. Amanda Mondt grew up in Buffalo and Central NY, spending most of her childhood in the North Syracuse area and beginning her veterinary career as a young high school student right here when Brewerton Hospital for Animals was known as Clear Lakes Animal Wellness. Dr. Mondt earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cornell University where she also volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Dr. Mondt gained valuable experience in exotics and triage while working as an education intern at the Utica Zoo and as a veterinary assistant at an emergency and specialty practice. Committed to staying in Central NY, Dr. Mondt earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell in 2020. Dr. Mondt has a passion for exotic pocket pets, dermatology and behavioral medicine. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mondt enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature with her lab mix and rooting for the Buffalo Bills. Most of all, Dr. Mondt is excited to be returning to our practice and is eager to meet her new patients and their owners.

Dr. Jason Felver brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for veterinary medicine to our team. Originally from Jamesville, NY, he began his education journey with a bachelor's degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and gained invaluable hands-on experience working as a veterinary technician for two years at a hospital in Newport, RI. Jason then pursued a master's degree in animal welfare and behavior at Purdue University where he solidified his commitment to the well-being of animals. Jason's academic journey then took him to Edinburgh University in Scotland, where he earned his veterinary degree.
After completing his studies, Dr. Felver returned to Central NY and worked in various hospitals in the region gaining diverse experience in the field. During this time, he developed a profound interest in geriatric care, inspired by his late beloved golden retriever mix, Layla.
Outside of work, Dr. Felver enjoys spending time with his family: his wife, Susanne, their two toddlers, Nora and Nathan, and their two rescue dogs, Buster and Ryan. He is an avid sports fan and follows football and basketball with a passion! He enjoys camping and hiking with both his friends and family and can often be found climbing the Adirondack high peaks working his way toward being an Adirondack 46er! His dedication to animal welfare, combined with his extensive training in areas such as acupuncture, makes him a valued member of our veterinary team.

Nichole obtained her degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Alfred in 2006. She has had experience in both general practice and emergency medicine. She joined Clear Lakes as the Practice Manager in September 2021 and enjoys being able to help colleagues, clients and patients! She lives right here in Brewerton with her husband Jon and daughter Paige. Two of their favorite activities as a family are camping in the summer and cruising in the winter! They have a full house with their 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 fish!

Liz obtained her degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Alfred in 2017. She joined our team in September of 2022 after working at a local emergency clinic. Liz recently moved to Brewerton with her husband Jordan. Their furry family members consist of 3 dogs (2 labs and a husky mix) and 2 cats! Liz enjoys hiking, baking and crafting in her spare time!

Chrissy graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Canton. She joined Clear Lakes initially in 1994 (making her the OG Tech here!). She took a hiatus in order to raise her 2 children. She filled in here and there as needed since then, and most recently came back full time in 2019.

She enjoys painting & crafting, loves spending time with family, and her favorite place to be is relaxing in Myrtle Beach (or any place where there is sun & sand!!) She lives with her husband Greg and 2 dogs- Mia & Onyx. She has 2 children and 2 horses!

Sarah graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology from Medaille University and has been a member of our team since May of 2022. When not taking care of your furry family members, you can find Sarah with her boyfriend Kyle and their newly welcomed daughter. She enjoys boating on Sandy Pond, trivia night with friends and going on walks with her pup Beau!

Ashley graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2016 and has been proudly
working as a veterinary technician ever since. She joined The BrewHA team
in July of 2023 and has loved being part of such a compassionate and
dedicated group. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her
family and pets, getting lost in a good book, and exploring the
outdoors—whether that means traveling to new places or simply soaking up
the fresh air on a peaceful walk.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Pennsylvania, I turned my childhood
dreams of veterinary medicine and modeling into reality. A proud graduate
of Johnson College in Scranton, PA, I honed my skills in Upstate New York,
gaining five years of emergency room experience before passing my VTNE to
become a licensed veterinary technician in New York. Now, at BrewHA, I’m
celebrating nearly two years in general practice—my first GP role!
Bilingual and passionate, I excel at placing IV catheters in tiny veins and
performing cystocentesis on small bladders. Outside the clinic, I love
volleyball, dancing, and cherishing moments with friends and family. At
home, my bunny Smidgen, a camera-loving fashionista, is my lifeline and
constant joy.

Vanessa started working as a licensed veterinary technician in 2018. She jointed our team shortly after moving to this in 2024. She received her vet tech degree from SUNY Delhi in 2016 and continued her education at SUNY Canton, obtaining a bachelor’s degree for Veterinary Business Management as
well. Outside of work, she enjoys all time spent with family, friends, and spoiling her bunny, Adorabelle.

Gabby joined our team in April 2022. She has 8 years of experience working at a doggy daycare and became certified as a training/ behavioral specialist at the C3 K9 Academy in 2020. She has an American Staffordshire Terrier mix named Shotsy, a cat named Chloe, a rabbit named Thumper and an Iguana named Lilo. She loves crafting, baking & hiking!

Jane has been working with animals for the last 13 years! She became a member of our team in May of 2021. She lives with her Mom and Grandma and has 1 dog (Goblin), 1 cat (Dinah), a ball python named Delphine and 8 geese! She loves Opossums (North Americas only marsupial), fishing, going to camp and hiking/ exploring new places.

Ariana joined our team in July of 2021. She enjoys good music, practicing jiu-jitsu and anything outdoors- especially skiing, hiking & camping! She has a golden Retriever named Winnie, a cat named Penny and 5 chickens!

Moriah joined our team in 2021 and has since decided to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently attending Penn Foster and looks forward to being able to be more hands-on with patient care! Moriah’s interests include Latin dance classes, poetry and teaching new tricks to her cat Cricket. She also helps care for her family pets: two troublesome beagles who like to keep their family on their toes (Copper and Lucy) and a cat named Kitty.

Hi there! I came to the BrewHA with 3 years of experience in veterinary reception and a big love for all things animal-related. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me adventuring outdoors with my three dogs—Frankenfoote, Bailey, and Bauer—whether that means climbing mountains or discovering hidden trails. On rainy days, I switch gears and cozy up inside with my two cats, Evin and Elixis, a warm cup of tea, and a good philosophy book. I also enjoy getting creative in the kitchen and painting when inspiration strikes!
